Boat Storage Technician: START DATE APRIL 1/2023
Duties Include:
- Following schedule to prep boats from winter storage, including loading boats on trailers, testing and installing batteries, setting up tops, starting engines
- Staging delivery boats to keep drivers on schedule
- Boat deliveries and water tests as needed
- Stage sales yard in a presentable manner
- Stage service yard to optimize technician schedule
- Assist technicians where needed
- Perform yard maintenance as required
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, understand and plan daily schedule
- Prior small engine experience an asset
- Ability to drive tractor with trailers
- Team work oriented, ability to work in a fast paced setting
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Some Saturdays required
Marine Technician:
Duties Include:
- Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair marine engines and systems
- Prepare repair recommendations for service writer to propose to clients
- Assembly, rigging and PDI of new and previously owned boats, motors and trailers
- Complete service records and repair documents
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and environment, including company owned equipment and vehicles
- Attend off-site service calls
- Prep boats for summer season, winterize and prep boats for winter season
- Maintain industry certification and training
- Mercury trained/certified
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Team work oriented, fast paced setting
- Valid 'G' drivers licence
- Some Saturdays required
- Ability to read, self-monitor schedule and multi-task
